The experience

The tour starts in Amman with a panoramic drive through the capital: the Citadel viewpoint, downtown streets and local markets, the Roman Theater, and Rainbow Street. From there you head south to Madaba, the mosaic city. The centerpiece is Saint George's Orthodox Church, where a 6th-century mosaic map marks the Holy Land and biblical sites. Inside the Franciscan Monastery you'll see ancient mosaics and relics. Then comes the Dead Sea: the lowest point on earth and the world's first natural spa.
