The experience
The tour runs 7 to 8 hours and starts with pickup from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. Your guide leads you on a road tour to the attractions, stopping first at Rick's Cafe on the western end of the island. The cafe is a working bar and grill with food and drinks, but the real draw is the setup: a cliff edge where you can jump into the water below, or simply sit back with a drink and watch live entertainment while you wait for the sunset. The energy there is built around both the thrill and the downtime.
After Rick's Cafe, the tour moves to Seven Mile Beach at Negril Tree House or Margaritaville, where entry is included. You'll find restrooms, chairs and umbrellas already set up, so you can swim or just settle in to relax. Tour guides are on-site if you want to arrange water sports like parasailing, sea tubing, snorkeling or a glass-bottom boat ride. Those are available but booked separately. The private vehicle and guide stay with you throughout, so the pacing is yours to set.
Hotel pickup is included, and the vehicle is fully air-conditioned. Infants and small children can travel in a pram or stroller. Lunch and dinner are not part of the package, though Rick's Cafe and Seven Mile Beach both have food service on-site.
