The experience

You get picked up from your Ocho Rios hotel and driven to Cool Blue Hole, where a guide meets you and leads the next two hours. The oasis sits in lush rainforest around a bright blue mineral pool. You can jump off the edge into the deep water, swing on Tarzan ropes strung across the pool, or swim under the caves. After that, a five-minute hike through the woods brings you to Secret Falls, where you stand under the cascading water and take photos.

The route ends at Scotchies Ocho Rios, a jerk restaurant on the way back. It's the natural place to eat after the water and the hike, and the food is what the spot is known for. Lunch is not included in the tour price, so you order and pay separately there.
