The experience
The day starts at Konoko Falls and Park, tucked in the hills of St. Ann. A guide walks you through the River Gardens for about 1.5 hours, pointing out indigenous birds and animals, sharing the history of the Taino Indians, and leading you up the cascading waterfalls to a vantage point over part of Ocho Rios. The park sits away from the main tourist drag, so the experience feels less crowded than the beaches closer to town.
After the scenic drive, you arrive at Cool Blue Hole and Secret Falls, hidden in the mountains on the border of Saint Ann and Saint Mary Parishes. The main pool is a bright mineral blue surrounded by rain-forest. You can jump off the edge into the deep water, swing on Tarzan ropes, or swim under the caves. A five-minute hike through the woods leads to Secret Falls, where you can stand under the cascading water and take photos. Your guide is with you for about two hours, but the time is yours to spend however you want: some people linger in the water, others explore the vegetation or rest on the rocks.
The tour includes stops at Scotchies for jerk food and local shopping areas on the way back, so you can pick up souvenirs or grab a meal if you want one. Your driver handles all the transport in an air-conditioned vehicle, and bottled water is provided throughout the day. The whole outing runs five to six hours from pickup to drop-off at your hotel.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What is the difference between Konoko Falls and Blue Hole on this tour?
Konoko Falls and Park is a guided walk through gardens and up cascading water with a view over Ocho Rios. Blue Hole is a natural mineral pool where you can jump, swim, swing on ropes and hike to a second waterfall called Secret Falls. Konoko is the first stop and takes about 1.5 hours with a guide. Blue Hole is the second stop and gives you roughly two hours of free time to move at your own pace.
Can I swim at both places on this tour?
You can swim at Blue Hole in the mineral pool and under the caves. At Konoko Falls, you climb up the cascading water but swimming is not the main activity. The focus is the guided walk through the gardens and the views from the top.
How much free time do I get at each stop?
At Konoko Falls, you spend approximately 1 to 1.5 hours on a guided tour with your guide leading the whole time. At Blue Hole, you have about two hours and can spend it however you wish: swimming, jumping, using the Tarzan ropes, hiking to Secret Falls, or resting.
Does the tour include food or drinks?
Bottled water is included throughout the day. The tour stops at Scotchies, a jerk restaurant, and at local shopping areas, so you can buy lunch or snacks if you want them, but meals are not included in the price.
What is the Tarzan rope swing at Blue Hole?
The Tarzan ropes are suspended from trees above the mineral pool at Blue Hole. You can swing out and drop into the deep water. They are one of the main activities at the site, along with jumping off the edge and swimming under the caves.
