The Experience

The day starts at Dunn's River Falls, Jamaica's most-visited waterfall, where you hike over 600 feet of cascading tiers. From there you move to Blue Hole, a smaller waterfall site with rope swings and cliff jumps into blue lagoons—the operator calls it a "newly found secret" and describes a free back massage from the cascade water itself. The physical demands shift at each stop: hiking the falls, then swimming and swinging, then floating.

The bamboo raft float on White River is where the pace changes. A captain pushes the raft while you sit and watch the river pass; the operator notes this works for infants on an adult's lap through to older travelers, and you can jump in to swim if you want to get wet. A drink is available on the raft. After the river, you ride a horse along a nature trail that goes into the ocean—the operator says the guides are patient with first-time riders and the route is safe for all ages.

Lunch breaks mid-tour and can run up to an hour. You'll eat jerk chicken or pork, rice and peas, a festival (a fried dough), and water or soda.
