The experience

The tour starts with pickup from your hotel or resort in an air-conditioned vehicle. You're driven to Falmouth, where you board a boat captained by someone who knows the lagoon. The Luminous Lagoon's glow comes from dinoflagellates, tiny organisms that light up when the water is disturbed. Swimming in it is the main event. You're not watching from the boat. Bottled water and WiFi are available on board. After the swim and time on the water, the return journey takes you back to your starting point by the same air-conditioned transport.
