Tandem paragliding flight over Capaccio-Paestum in Salerno with a qualified instructor who has over ten years of experience. You'll climb to peaks of 600–700 meters, admire the mountain ranges and Cilento coastline, and receive a video recording of your flight. The experience lasts 20–30 minutes total (briefing plus flight) and depends on weather conditions; the instructor contacts you the day before to confirm timing based on the forecast. Weight limits apply: minimum 30 kg, maximum 110 kg. Under 18 requires parental permission on the day.

The Experience

The instructor meets you and walks through the setup: helmet, harness, emergency parachute, and the safety systems that make the flight possible. You'll be fitted into the tandem rig — you're harnessed to the pilot, not flying solo — and given a brief on what to expect during the climb and the turns you'll make in the air. The whole ground preparation takes time, so the 20–30 minute window covers both the briefing and the actual flight.

Once airborne, you'll ride thermal currents and watch the landscape unfold below: the mountain ridges of Capaccio-Paestum, the Cilento coast stretching out, and the altitude climbing toward 600–700 meters. The instructor handles all the flying; your job is to take in the view and feel the sensation of being held aloft by rising air. Everything is filmed on a GoPro mounted to the instructor's harness, so you'll have video proof of what you saw from up there.

Weather controls the day. Conditions have to be right for safe flight, so the timing isn't fixed until the afternoon before — the instructor calls to confirm based on the forecast and arrange the best window. You can't eat or drink soda before the flight, and you need to be within the weight range (30–110 kg) to fly. If you add the photos-in-flight service at checkout, you'll also get high-resolution stills from the flight to share.
