Step-by-step itinerary
Boat tour and Capri exploration
- Depart from Amalfi Coast
- Swim at Li Galli marine park
- Visit Capri island for two hours
- Walk through Capri streets
- Circumnavigate Capri by boat
- Swim near Faraglioni rocks
- Lunch stop in Nerano
The experience
The boat leaves Amalfi and heads toward Capri, with the crew steering you past the Amalfi Coast's cliffs and into the waters around the island itself. You'll circle Capri's full perimeter (the commander suggests a two-hour stop on the island to walk its streets), and the route takes in hidden bays and sea caves that only appear from the water. Stops for swimming happen at Li Galli, a protected marine park with clear water, and near the Faraglioni, the three rock stacks that rise from the sea off Capri's eastern edge.
Lunch anchors the day in Nerano, a village on the Sorrentine Peninsula reachable only by boat. The crew knows which restaurants work for groups arriving by water. Snorkelling equipment is on board, along with towels, soft drinks, snacks and alcoholic beverages for passengers 21 and older. A restroom is available throughout the day. If you want it, you can add a drone photo shoot of the boat and the coastline, rent an underwater scooter, or request a custom selection of drinks beyond what's standard.
The tour is fully customizable. The crew takes direction on where to linger and which stops matter most. Pickup is included from your Amalfi location. A landing fee of 100 euros covers all passengers at the dock, and a five-euro tourist tax applies per person. Lunch is separate.

Is this one for you?Eight hours on the water means you can circle the island fully, swim at two separate sites, and eat lunch without rushing, but it rules out combining this with other activities the same day. If you want a shorter outing or need time for the town, consider a half-day alternative instead.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English, Spanish and Italian.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What's the difference between swimming at Li Galli and near the Faraglioni?
Li Galli is a marine park with protected, calm waters ideal for snorkelling. The Faraglioni stop puts you in the open sea near Capri's most famous rock formations, offering a different seascape and swimming experience.
Can we spend more time on Capri itself instead of swimming?
Yes. The commander recommends a two-hour stop on the island to walk its streets, but the tour is fully customizable, so you can adjust the itinerary to match what you want to see and do.
Is lunch included in the tour price?
Lunch is not included. You pay separately at the restaurant in Nerano. The crew will take you to places that accommodate boat arrivals and can advise on options.
What happens if the weather turns bad?
The tour operates in standard sea conditions. If weather becomes unsafe, the crew will adjust the route or discuss alternatives with you on the day.
Do we need our own snorkelling gear?
No. Snorkelling equipment is provided on board, along with towels and all the gear you need for swimming stops.
