From vineyard rows to barrel room: taste what the land grows here

A guided vineyard and cellar tour near Verona where you walk through 11 grape varieties grown with organic practices, see the fermentation and aging process, and taste 4 wines—two DOC, one IGT white, one IGT red—paired with Monte Veronese cheese, Soppressa salami and Coppa. The tour runs 90 minutes with a live guide in English, Italian or German (book your language at checkout). Arrive 10–15 minutes early.

The Experience

You start in the vineyard rows, walking through the 11 varieties the winery grows on this land. The guide explains the organic and sustainable practices that shape each grape, then moves into the cellar where fermentation happens in steel tanks using the gravity-flow method—no pumps, just gravity moving the wine down through the process. The barrel room comes last, where you see how age changes what's inside the oak.

The tasting happens at the end of the tour, four wines poured in sequence: two DOC Bardolinos, one IGT white, one IGT red. Each one sits alongside a plate of local cold cuts and cheeses—Monte Veronese, Soppressa salami, Coppa—so the salt and fat of the meat and the sharpness of the cheese show you what each wine does. Still or sparkling water comes with it. The whole thing takes 90 minutes from start to finish.

Arrive 10–15 minutes before your time so the guide can start on schedule. The winery is wheelchair accessible throughout, and if you have food intolerances or preferences, let them know when you book. Spanish-language tours are available if you request them in advance; otherwise, choose English, Italian or German at checkout.

Is this one for you?Book this tour if you want to see how wine is actually made—from the soil to the barrel—rather than just taste it. The 90-minute format fits a free afternoon, and the gravity-flow cellar and barrel room are the details that separate this winery from a standard tasting room.
