The experience
The Vogadori brothers run everything themselves: the vineyards, the cellar, the tastings. No hired staff means you're tasting wines made by the hands that grew them. You'll taste five different Valpolicella wines (the 100% Corvina, Raffaello, Amarone Grazie and Rita) plus the Amarone grappa. Amarone Grazie is their flagship, produced only in the best vintages and meant for slow sipping. The tasting also includes their extra virgin olive oil, so you get a sense of how they approach flavor across everything they grow.
What sets this apart is the green farming: no herbicide, no pesticide, no chemical inputs. The brothers are certified, but certification is just paperwork. You taste the difference when the wine hits your mouth. They'll walk you through what that means for the land and for the flavor, because they're the ones doing the work. This is the heart of the Classico area of Valpolicella, and the brothers have been making wine here for three generations.

Top questions
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (4 to 15 years): free; Infant (under 4): free.
What exactly do I taste during the hour?
You taste five different Valpolicella wines (Corvina, Raffaello, Amarone Grazie and Rita among them) plus Amarone grappa and extra virgin olive oil. Bottled water is provided.
Will the Vogadori brothers actually be there, or just someone who works for them?
The brothers themselves run the cellar with no employees, so one of them leads the tasting. You meet the family behind the wines, not a hired guide.
What does it mean that they farm without chemicals?
No herbicides, pesticides or chemical fertilizers go into the vineyards. The brothers are certified organic, and they want you to taste how that affects the wine: cleaner, more direct flavor from the grapes themselves.
Is this tasting suitable for someone who doesn't know much about wine?
Yes. The brothers explain what you're tasting and why they make it the way they do. You don't need wine knowledge to enjoy it or to understand what they're showing you.
