The experience
The tour starts with pickup from your hotel and moves through five stops that show different sides of Ubud. You'll walk five minutes from the parking area to Tegenunnan Waterfall, where you can swim or photograph the green scenery around the river. Batuan Temple, built in 944, comes next: a village temple carved with traditional Bali sculpture and detail. The itinerary then shifts to Tegalalang rice terraces, where you walk through the paddies themselves and meet local farmers, not just view them from a distance.
The monkey forest in Ubud center holds over 600 long-tailed Bali monkeys, and you move through the forest on foot to encounter them. Your final stops are Ubud Market and Ubud Palace. The market gives you the atmosphere of local commerce, and the palace visit is brief. An English-speaking guide leads the whole route, and the AC car means you're not moving between stops in the heat. All entrance tickets are covered, along with bottled water for the day.
