The experience
What do you need to arrange yourself? Nothing. Your driver picks you up from your hotel, takes you to Blue Lagoon Beach, and gives you a short briefing before the boat leaves: about 10 minutes from shore. You spend an hour snorkeling in the calm, clear water, watching parrotfish and other tropical species move through the coral. Then the boat carries you to Tanjung Jepun Beach, where you have another hour underwater to spot lionfish, lobsters and more of the reef life that surrounds you.
The gear is all there (mask, fins, snorkel, wetsuit if you need it), and a professional instructor is with you in the water. Between the two sites, you get a Balinese lunch and a bottle of water. Changing rooms and a shower are available so you can rinse off before the drive back. The whole day runs 6 hours from pickup to drop-off, and the vehicle is air-conditioned.
The activity depends on good weather. If conditions turn, you can reschedule or take a full refund. The guide speaks English and can also work in Spanish, Italian, French and several other languages if your group needs it.
