The experience
The private car stays with you for all three days, which means no switching between drivers or waiting for group pickups. Your English-speaking driver handles navigation while you move through Bali's mix of Hindu temples, volcanic landscape and coastal stops. Door-to-door service means the car collects you from your hotel and returns you there at the end, so the logistics of getting between sites disappear.
Day one heads inland to Kintamani, where Mount Batur volcano sits in a caldera surrounded by six ancient villages. You'll have lunch at Penelokan village with views across to the mountain, then visit Batuan Temple to see classical Balinese architecture and learn how the local Hindu practice works. Tegenunnan Waterfall comes next, with photo spots including a swing and bird nest setup overlooking the water.
Day two is the beach run. Tanjung Benoa is a water sports beach where a banana boat ride is included in the package. Other activities like parasailing and jet skis are optional and cost extra. Melasti Beach offers a quieter atmosphere for swimming and relaxing. Uluwatu Temple perches on a cliff with ocean views and wild monkeys around the grounds. The day ends with a candlelit seafood dinner set up on Jimbaran Beach at sunset, where you choose from a BBQ menu of local fish and shellfish.
Day three moves to Bali's north. Tanah Lot Temple sits on a rock formation facing the ocean, and Ulun Danu Beratan Temple floats on a small grassy island in a mountain lake. Both are major photo stops. Tamblingan Lake has a swing and bird nest overlook for more shots, and lunch is an Indonesian buffet. The driver brings you back to your hotel by the end of the day.
Is this one for you?Three days is long enough to cover the island's main temples, waterfalls and beaches in one loop without rushing, but short enough to fit into a longer Bali stay. If your schedule only allows two days or you want to go deeper into one region, look at the shorter or more specialized tours instead.

What is Mount Batur like at Kintamani, and why do people visit it?

The caldera is surrounded by six ancient villages and captivating natural scenery, and you'll have lunch at Penelokan village with views across to the mountain as part of the tour.
Can I do water sports at Tanjung Benoa, or is the banana boat the only option?
A banana boat ride is included in the package at Tanjung Benoa. Parasailing, jet skis, diving, sea walker, fly fish and fly board are available as optional activities that cost extra and are not part of the base tour.
What makes Ulun Danu Beratan Temple different from the other temples on the tour?
Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is built on a small bed of grass floating on a lake high up in the mountains, which gives it a unique structure that makes it a popular spot for photographers. The other temples (Batuan, Uluwatu and Tanah Lot) are on land or on rock formations but not on water.
