2-Day Certified Dives in Pemuteran: 5 dives in Menjangan Park

A 2-day diving activity in Pemuteran for certified divers, exploring five sites across Menjangan Park with a live instructor, equipment and boat transport included. The dives are timed to conditions and your level. Between dives you rest and eat on the island. Refresher training is available if your last dive was more than a year ago. Children from age 12 can join if certified.

The experience

What makes these two days different is the sites themselves. Menjangan Park holds the Eels Garden, the POS 2 tombant drop-off, Mandarin and cave points, plus macro spots most divers miss on their own. An instructor who knows the park takes you to whichever sites suit the day's conditions and your experience level, so you're not following a fixed route but diving what's actually best that morning. You leave the dive center at 08:30 or 09:00, drive 15 minutes to the harbor, then take a wooden boat 25 minutes out to Menjangan island.

The rhythm of the two days is built around the dives themselves. You'll do two or three dives each day, with time between them to eat, drink tea and walk on the island if you want. All equipment is provided (mask, fins, buoyancy jacket, regulator and the rest) along with a wetsuit and weight belt. The dive center has showers, lockers and a change room. A restaurant on-site serves food (at your own cost). Your instructor speaks English, Spanish or French, and shares knowledge of the marine life and corals as you explore, so you're learning the area, not just moving through it.

You need to be a certified diver to book, and your certification must be current within the past year. If it's been longer, the center offers a refresher session with an instructor before you start the five dives. Children from age 12 can dive if they're certified. The center can arrange accommodation if you need it. All five dives must be completed within a week of your start date.
