This private Jaipur tour pairs solo female travelers with a local female guide for five to eight hours of sightseeing across the Pink City's major heritage sites. The experience

The day starts with pickup from your hotel and a drive to Amer Fort, 6 kilometers north of the city on the Jaipur-Delhi highway. The fort took over 100 years to build and sits on a hillside in Amer town, divided into four courtyards constructed by different kings. Inside, the mirror palace has walls and ceilings covered in mirrors from Belgium, alongside frescoes and inlaid marble work that blend Hindu and Mughal design. Your guide walks you through the fort's layout and history before you head back down toward the city.

On the drive back, you stop at Panna Meena ka Kund, a 16th-century stepwell built for religious gatherings and known for its geometric step design. Then comes Jal Mahal, a water palace built in 1799 in the middle of a lake. It's closed to visitors but you'll stop to photograph it from the shore. A short drive away is Royal Gaitor, the royal cremation ground still used by Jaipur's royal family, where marble and red sandstone cenotaphs display intricate carvings. The route then takes you into the Pink City itself to Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds, built the same year as Jal Mahal. The structure has 957 small windows and was designed so royal women could watch street processions and festivals without being seen from outside.

The final stops are City Palace, still partly occupied by the royal family and built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh when he founded Jaipur in 1727, and Jantar Mantar, the observatory he constructed in the early 18th century. Both are UNESCO World Heritage sites. At Jantar Mantar you'll see astrological and astronomical instruments that are still in working condition. Lunch is included during the tour, and your guide handles all entrance fees. The full day ends with drop-off at your hotel.
