The experience

Your driver meets you at your chosen location in Jaipur and the day starts with a pass by Jal Mahal, a palace that appears to float on Man Sagar Lake: a stop built for photographs and to see how Mughal and Rajput architecture blend here. From there the route moves through the walled Pink City, stopping at Panna Meena Stepwell, a 16th-century structure with intricate stair patterns that fill the frame, then Royal Gaitor, where marble cenotaphs of the royal family sit against a backdrop of hills in a quieter corner of the city.

The tour centers on three major sites: Hawa Mahal, the five-story Palace of Winds with 953 small windows designed so royal women could watch street life unseen; Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the world's largest stone astronomical observatories built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II to measure time and track stars; and City Palace, still home to the royal family, blending Rajasthani and Mughal styles across grand courtyards and museums. Your guide shares the history and architecture at each stop. The itinerary also includes Galta Ji, known as the Monkey Temple, where you can watch the sunset, and the Sargasuli Tower, the tallest historical building in Jaipur, built in 1749 as a watchtower.
