Pickup starts at 9am from your hotel, airport or railway station. The route heads straight to Mehrangarh Fort, perched 150 meters above the city on a hilltop that Rao Jodha founded in 1459. To reach the inner palaces, you cross seven gates—each one still marked by the scars of old battles. Inside the fort walls sit several palaces known for their carved stonework and open courtyards; the guide walks you through the layout and the history each gate holds.

By 11am you're at Jaswant Thada, a white marble cenotaph built in the 19th century to honor Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, with three other royal cenotaphs standing nearby. The afternoon takes you to the Clock Tower in the old city and Sadar Market, where the bazaar has kept the old haat culture alive—stalls selling gemstones, silver jewelry, bangles, textiles and clothes line the narrow lanes. If you want to add Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum, you can pay the entrance fee directly; it's the world's sixth-largest private residence, set across 26 acres with a museum displaying royal weapons, antiques, clocks and trophies. The day ends with a transfer back to your hotel, airport or station.
