The experience
The day starts at a jungle sanctuary where you strap into a harness and clip onto 12 ziplines strung over three kilometers of rainforest canopy. The cables carry you above the treetops with views down into the understory. Between runs, expert island guides point out conservation work happening on the ground. You get close to rescued sloths, spider monkeys and macaws living in natural habitats: no staged enclosures, just animals roaming freely in the lush terrain. The sanctuary is government-approved and designed for ages five and up, with safety gear and briefing included.
After ziplining, you move to the golf cart phase. You and a guide climb into a two-seater electric cart and ride off-road through Pete's Place at Pristine Bay Resort, threading jungle trails, a golf course perimeter and mangrove areas on the ocean side. The route passes through French Harbour and Brady's Cay. As you ride, you spot tropical birds, iguanas and native flora while the ocean stays visible from the close. A safety briefing covers the cart operation: no prior driving experience is needed, though the minimum age to operate the cart is 16 with a valid license. Younger children ride as passengers on an adult's lap.
The final two hours land at Pristine Bay Beach Club, a private stretch of white sand and clear water closed to cruise passengers and the general public. You have access to an infinity pool, shaded loungers and private cabanas. Lunch and two drinks per person (local beers or rum) are included. The oceanfront restaurant offers optional upgrades like spa treatments or water sports rentals if you want them. The beach is yours to swim, snorkel or simply rest before heading back to the ship.
