Step-by-step itinerary

ATV, Zipline, Sloth Park, Beach

  • Meet outside main gate
  • Visit Sloth Park and learn
  • Ride automatic ATV tour
  • Zipline through jungle canopy
  • Relax at the beach

The experience

The zipline course is the centerpiece: 24 cables, 19 platforms and a hiking area where your guide stays with you throughout, pointing out details about Roatan's culture and ecosystems as you move through the canopy. The setup uses Bridgestone suspension, and your guide handles safety briefing and any questions about technique before you clip in. After ziplining, you move to the ATV portion. You ride your own automatic four-wheeler with the guide leading the way, navigating to hidden coves, scenic overlooks and Garifuna villages while the guide shares stories about the island's history and ecology.

Sloth Park comes next. A guide walks you through the park to show you sloths in a conservation setting, explaining their behavior and habitat while you watch them feed. The park visit is structured but unhurried. From there, you head to the beach with no set itinerary. You swim, rest or walk the sand for as long as you want, and the driver waits to bring you back whenever you're ready. The whole sequence runs 4 to 5 hours from pickup to drop-off.

Your guide speaks English or Spanish and stays with you for the ATV and zipline portions. Transport picks you up from your starting point and returns you there. Children from age 1 are welcome, and specialized infant seats are available if needed. The activity suits all fitness levels, though it is not recommended for people with cardiovascular concerns.

What’s included

  • Professional guide for the ATV and zipline sections.
  • round-trip pickup and drop-off from your starting point.
  • access to all four activity areas (zipline course, ATV terrain, Sloth Park and beach).
