Step-by-step itinerary
Zip line, animal sanctuary, snorkel
- Prepare gear and safety briefing
- Zip line on 16 double lines
- Visit animal sanctuary
- Snorkel at coral reef
- Relax on the beach
The experience
The day starts at the facility with a safety briefing and gear check before you step onto the first of 16 double zip lines strung across 24 platforms. The lines run as high as 480 feet and stretch up to 1,210 feet long, with three suspension bridges woven through the course and views down to the town and the water below. The zip line section takes 45 minutes to an hour, moving through a tropical canopy with a guide managing the pace and safety.
After the canopy, you head to an animal sanctuary where you walk through a space built to house and care for local wildlife. Then it's onto a boat to the reef, where you spend about an hour in the water with snorkeling equipment provided. The reef is the world's second-largest, and the hour gives you time to move through the coral and watch the fish and other marine life that pass through. Once back on the beach, you can rest or spend time with your group before heading back.
The whole outing runs four hours and includes an air-conditioned vehicle for transport. A live guide in English or Spanish stays with the group throughout. Snorkeling equipment, the zip line gear and the sanctuary visit are all part of the booking. You bring only a valid ID and a moderate level of fitness for the heights and the physical demands of the lines.
What’s included
- Snorkeling equipment and air-conditioned vehicle transport are provided.
- a live guide in English or Spanish leads the activity throughout the four hours.

Is this one for you?The four-hour span means you can fit this into a port day or a half-day window, but it leaves little room for a separate meal or a second activity afterward. Book this if the zip line, sanctuary and reef together make a full morning or afternoon, not if you need flexibility to add another stop.
