The experience
The ziplines run through the forest where animals live freely, so sightings happen as you travel. Your guide handles the safety equipment setup and stays with you across each line, calling out wildlife as it appears: sloths moving through branches, monkeys in the upper canopy, toucans and macaws perched on high limbs. The lines are spaced to give you time to spot and photograph what's below and around you, not just rush across.
Transport picks you up from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and builds the day around the ziplining. Before you head into the forest, you stop at a local chocolate factory where staff walk you through how cacao becomes chocolate, then let you taste and buy products. After ziplining, the route includes the rum factory with a tasting and rum cake, panoramic viewpoints over the island, the Roatan sign for photos, and West End for lunch and shopping. The day ends at West Bay beach if you want to add a resort day pass and swim.
A guide speaks English or Spanish and travels with your group through the entire experience. The whole outing runs between three and five hours depending on how long you spend at each stop and whether you add beach time. All fees, taxes and transport are covered. You bring or purchase snacks and meals along the way.
