Step-by-step itinerary
Zipline, ATV, and Beach Day
- Zipline through jungle canopy
- Lunch and drinks at local restaurant
- Off-road ATV adventure
- Relax and swim at the beach
The experience
The zipline course has 16 lines and 24 platforms strung through the jungle canopy, with beginner lines if you're new to it and extreme options if you've done this before. You're harnessed in and moving through the trees at your own pace, not watching from below. After you come down, you head to a local restaurant where the staff walks you through the lunch menu and you pick what you want, plus drinks.
Then you get your own personal 4x4 ATV for the off-road section. This is not a guided ride on someone else's machine. You operate it yourself, steering through terrain that tests both your reflexes and your nerve. After the adrenaline, the day winds down at a beach in Roatan where you can stretch out on white sand or swim in the turquoise water. Round-trip transport picks you up from Mahogany Bay, Coxen Hole cruise port, or your hotel and gets you back on time: the operator guarantees it.
The whole outing runs about 5 hours. A guide speaks English or Spanish throughout. Children from age 5 are welcome, though the activity is not recommended for anyone with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or cardiovascular concerns. You'll need at least moderate fitness to handle the ATV and zipline sections.
