Step-by-step itinerary

Jungle adventure and beach relaxation

  • Explore Roatan jungle on buggy tour
  • Observe capuchin monkeys and sloths
  • Learn from local naturalist guide
  • Relax at private beach club
  • Snorkel or kayak for three hours
  • Enjoy seafood and tropical cocktails
  • Swim in infinity pools and use cabanas

The experience

The day starts with a pickup from your hotel or cruise port in an air-conditioned vehicle, then moves straight into the jungle on low-emission ATVs. You ride designated trails across 30 acres of lush terrain, stopping to watch sloths and white-faced capuchin monkeys moving through the trees. A local naturalist guide, including renowned guide Joel Amaya, shares knowledge about the wildlife and the conservation work protecting the island's ecosystem. The ATV section gives you control of the vehicle while the guide handles the wildlife spotting and the route.

After the trails, you move to the zipline course, where carbon-neutral lines run over the canopy. The equipment is provided, and the setup is designed for ages 5 and up. This is where the adrenaline part of the day happens: you're operating the zipline yourself, not watching from below.

The final three hours take place at Pristine Bay's private beach club on the shoreline. Turquoise water meets white sand, and you can swim, snorkel, kayak or simply rest in a shaded cabana. Fresh seafood and tropical cocktails are available at the oceanfront bar. The beach has a water trampoline if you want one more rush before heading back. Wear beach shoes. The shore is coral-rich.

Is this one for you?Pickup from your hotel or cruise port means you don't need a car or a way to reach the jungle trails. The vehicle collects you and returns you at the end of the day, which matters if you're staying elsewhere on the island or arriving by ship.
