The experience
The tour runs two to three hours total, starting from your chosen departure point on Paros. You cruise for around thirty minutes through the waters between Paros and Antiparos, then anchor at Blue Lagoon: a shallow, sheltered stop on the south coast where you can drink wine or beer, eat local cheese, and watch the light change across the water. The boat then moves to St Nicholas islet to catch the sunset before heading back to your starting point. Depending on where you board, the route may also pass Trypiti Cave in southern Paros or the Fera canal north of Antiparos, both raw limestone formations that shift color as the sun moves.
Wine, beer, soft drinks and bottled water come aboard. Life jackets are provided and required. The boat is private to your group, so the pace and stops are yours to set within the itinerary. An English-speaking guide navigates and explains what you're seeing. WiFi is available on board if you want to stay connected, though most travelers leave their phones alone during the sunset itself.
