A private sunset cruise on Mykonos aboard the traditional wooden boat Sea Diamond, captained by local Grigoris. You swim in clear water at a stop of your choosing, then watch the sunset from the deck while eating fresh fruit and Greek cheese with wine. The boat holds up to nine guests, and you control the music and the route.

The experience

What makes this different from the packed sunset boats moored in town is that you're the only booking aboard Sea Diamond. The afternoon departure gives you three hours on the water before the light turns gold, and the captain takes the boat to quieter anchorages where swimmers actually want to be. You pick where to stop and how long to stay in the water. Snorkelling gear is on board if you want it.

Food arrives as generous platters (fresh seasonal fruits, Greek cheeses, Greek wine, soft drinks and water) all included and served without fuss. The deck fills with whatever music you bring, and the sunset happens on your terms, not on a schedule that rushes you back to the pier. Grigoris speaks English and Greek, and the boat moves at the pace that suits the group.

Towels are provided. The boat departs in the afternoon and returns before dark. Infants travel free on an adult's lap, and the activity suits all fitness levels.
