Snorkeling in Mykonos: Sailing cruise to Rhenia and Delos
Anchor in a private bay and snorkel from a yacht, then eat Greek food on board
A sailing cruise from Mykonos to Rhenia and Delos combines snorkeling, swimming and paddleboarding in a small group. The yacht departs Tourlos in the morning, stops at Delos for photos of the ancient site, then anchors off Rhenia's white sand beach where you enter the water with snorkel gear. Lunch, a buffet of Greek dishes, is served on board, along with wine, beer and soft drinks. The captain adjusts the route based on weather and wind conditions on the day.

The experience
You board at Tourlos and sail for about an hour to Rhenia, an uninhabited island in the Cyclades. On the way, the yacht passes Delos, a UNESCO World Heritage site where you can photograph the ancient ruins from the water. Once anchored in a secluded bay off Rhenia, you have the beach and the sea to yourself: no crowds, no resort infrastructure. The water is clear enough to see the seafloor, and snorkel equipment is provided.
The day splits between water and rest. Swim or snorkel as long as you want, try stand-up paddleboarding if the weather allows, or sunbathe on the sand or the deck. Around midday, a traditional Mykonian lunch appears on board: a buffet of Greek dishes prepared fresh, with complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks. After eating, the yacht heads back to Mykonos, arriving in the late afternoon. The itinerary can shift if wind or weather changes. The captain has final say on the route and may choose an alternative destination if conditions demand it.
Bottled water is always available, and all fees and taxes are built into the price. Bring a towel if you have one. The boat does not provide them. Entry to Delos itself (if you wanted to land and walk the site) costs extra and is not part of this cruise. You see it from the water only.
