The Experience

The Corinth Canal cuts through limestone cliffs 70 feet wide and 4 miles long, separating the Peloponnese from mainland Greece. You cross it first, watching the narrow passage from high above before heading south into the Peloponnese. The Acronauplia, the oldest fortification, commands views across the gulf. Free time lets you wander, photograph, or sit by the water before the driver takes you back to Athens.
