You start at the off-road base in the Punta Cana countryside after a quick safety briefing and vehicle assignment. Then you ride — through muddy trails, tropical farmland and small rural villages, with your guide on the route the whole time. No riding experience is needed; the guide handles the navigation and you handle the throttle. Stops for photos happen whenever something catches your eye, and the pace stays steady enough that the day doesn't wear you out.

The ranch stop breaks up the riding. You watch how local coffee and cacao are grown and processed, taste them fresh from the source, and learn the story behind Mamajuana, the Dominican herbal drink the island is known for.
