The day starts with an interpretive hike through the jungle that leads to Damajagua Waterfalls. Once there, an expert guide walks you through seven of the famous 27 limestone pools, each one an opportunity to jump, swim or glide into fresh water. The guide stays with you throughout to keep the experience both exciting and safe. This is not a passive viewing. You're in the water, moving from one natural pool to the next, testing yourself against each fall.

After the water adventure, the tour moves to a monkey sanctuary set inside a botanical garden. Here the focus shifts to observation and interaction. You'll encounter squirrel monkeys in a safe, controlled environment designed to teach you about their conservation. The monkeys are accustomed to visitors and will climb onto your shoulders and eat from your hands, which is where most travelers get their best photographs and the moment they remember longest.
