You're picked up from your Paphos accommodation and driven into the Troodos mountain villages to visit 3 carefully selected wineries. Each one is family-owned, and you'll tour the premises of at least two of them to see how the wine is made and meet the people behind it. At each stop you taste a selection of whites, rosés and reds, learning about the indigenous grape varieties that grow on the island and the history of Cyprus wine-making. The guide answers questions at every tasting, so you leave knowing what you're drinking instead of just sipping and moving on.

Between wineries, the route takes you through rural mountain villages and stops at Chrysoroyiatissa monastery, a stone building founded in 1152 and rebuilt in 1770, with a wine cellar you can visit. Around midday you stop in Polemi village for a traditional meze lunch — small plates of local food, wine and bottled water, all included. The whole day runs about 7 hours, and the timing can shift depending on the route and the wineries in season, so let the team know if you need to be back by a certain time.
