The day starts with hotel pickup and a drive into the pine-covered slopes of the Troodos Mountains. Your first stop is the Tzelefos Venetian Bridge, a 16th-century stone arch spanning the Diarizos River — one of the few rivers in Cyprus that never runs dry. The bridge is a working piece of history, still standing exactly as it was completed during Venetian rule, and the clearing around it is one of the most photographed spots on the island.

Next is Lambouri Winery, a family estate with a distinction almost no other winery on earth can claim: it is the only producer outside Israel permitted to make kosher wine, and it crafts Ya'in Kafrisin, a wine with over 2,000 years of history on the island. The tasting includes the legendary sweet Commandaria and the fiery Zivania — both central to Cyprus' winemaking heritage — plus a curated selection of award-winning local wines. You'll have time to linger and ask questions; this is not a rushed pour-and-go.

The route then climbs to the Northwest Observation Viewpoint, where the panorama opens across endless pine-covered slopes, traditional mountain villages, and winding roads stretching to Morphou Bay. Troodos Square follows — a pause in the heart of the mountains where you can grab a traditional Cypriot coffee or a meal at a local taverna before the afternoon continues. Milomeris Waterfall is tucked deep in the pine forest, a short walk from the parking area. Crystal-clear water cascades into a natural pool surrounded by wildflowers and lush greenery; you can swim or simply stand in the quiet of the forest. The day ends in Omodos, a village where ancient wine presses and handmade lace shops line cobblestone streets. The Monastery of the Holy Cross sits at the center, guarding a sacred relic that has drawn pilgrims for generations. Shoulders and knees must be covered to enter the monastery; comfortable walking shoes are essential for the village's uneven alleys.
