Sunset yacht cruise Protaras: Blue Lagoon swim and BBQ
Swim in the Blue Lagoon, touch the rocks at Agioi Anargyroi Church, slide into the sea
A 3.5-hour sunset yacht cruise from Protaras sails past Fig Tree Bay, into Cape Greco's sea caves and the Blue Lagoon for a swim stop, then past Agioi Anargyroi Church, the easternmost point of Cyprus, where the boat draws close enough to touch the rocks. The St. Georgios is a luxury yacht with a full upper deck bar, air-conditioned cabin and plenty of sun and shade. A live English-speaking guide narrates the route. You can add hotel pickup, upgrade to unlimited drinks on board, or book the cruise without the BBQ meal if you prefer.

The experience
The St. Georgios leaves Protaras and sails into the Blue Lagoon at Cape Greco national park, where you stop to swim in crystal-clear water and use snorkelling equipment to explore. The route passes Shark Mouth cave and Lovers Bridge before reaching Agioi Anargyroi Church, built on the easternmost point of the island above a cave that was the original place of worship. The boat manoeuvres close enough to the rocks that you can touch them from the bow. The crew prepares a traditional Cypriot BBQ on board (grilled chicken, homemade fried potatoes, Cyprus rice, pasta, salad, bread and tzatziki) all made fresh from local sources and served in the air-conditioned lower cabin or on deck.
The yacht has a full upper deck with a bar for panoramic views as you watch the sunset, plus plenty of deck space to find sun or shade depending on what you want. Life jackets, snorkelling gear, WiFi and a restroom are on board. One free drink is included with your booking. You can upgrade to unlimited wine, soft drinks and juice at checkout, or purchase additional snacks on board. The tour operates with a live guide in English or Arabic and runs 3.5 hours. Hotel pickup is available as an add-on option, and you can also book the cruise without the meal if you prefer. Wind and sea conditions determine whether the inflatable slide is in use, and while turtles are sometimes spotted in these waters, there's no guarantee.
