Get back in the water safely after time away from diving

A three-hour refresher dive in Curaçao for divers returning after 18 months or more away. You'll review equipment and safety skills in the shallow bay off the beach, then move to the house reef for a full open-water dive to 40 feet with a live guide in English or Dutch.

The experience

The dive starts on dry land with a thorough review of your scuba equipment, basic skills and safety procedures: a chance to ask questions and settle any concerns before you enter the water. Once you're ready, you'll walk across the road to the Dive Bus's shallow, protected sandy bay, where the real work begins: breathing underwater again, moving with fins, and practicing the core skills that keep diving safe. This isn't a rushed checkout. You spend as long as you need here getting comfortable before moving deeper.

When you're confident in the shallows, it's a short swim to the house reef itself. The open-water dive runs up to an hour at a maximum depth of 40 feet, and you'll have a live guide with you the whole way. All equipment is provided (tanks, wetsuit, weights, the lot), so you show up and dive.
