The experience

The day starts at a base camp at the gateway to West Curaçao, where you gear up, get a safety briefing, and take a practice run before the group heads out. From there, the route leaves the city behind entirely (no highway traffic, no commercial convoys), and moves straight into the rugged heart of the island. You ride on dirt tracks through one of Curaçao's quiet natural plains in Banda Abou, a wide open landscape where the island feels untouched, then past windmills standing tall against the trade winds that have shaped life here for generations.
