You ride a fully automatic ATV on trails that cross from the wave-battered North Coast to the peaceful South Coast—a route that packs two entirely different landscapes into one morning. The North side opens with dramatic desert, wind turbines, and a hidden natural cave carved into the rock. From there you cross the island's narrow tail to the South, where the terrain flattens into beach access, flamingo habitat, and shallow water where sea turtles surface. This is not a loop that circles back to the start; it is a true coast-to-coast run that shows you the island's actual geography instead of a curated highlight reel.

Your guide is someone who literally grew up on these paths, which changes what a trail ride becomes. Instead of following a standard route, you get storytelling about the Westpoint area—authentic island history, local traditions, and insider details about the landscape you are moving through. The group stays at five ATVs maximum, which means flexible pacing, better wildlife viewing, and the ability to stop for photos without managing a convoy. Automatic transmission keeps the focus on the terrain and the scenery, not on gear shifts. You wear a helmet and goggles throughout, and the guide handles the route.

The ride runs roughly three and a half hours from start to finish. Pickup is available from hotels or cruise ports depending on which option you choose; last-minute bookings are welcome. The guide speaks English, Spanish, German or Dutch. A valid driver's license is required, and you need to be at least 21 to operate an ATV, though younger riders can discuss possibilities by reaching out directly. Children from age 6 can ride as passengers on a double-rider ATV if your group includes an adult operator.
