ATV tour Curaçao: San Pedro, caves & beach swim
Three hours on an ATV: windmill views, a cave, flamingos, and a Caribbean swim

The tour runs three hours with a live guide in English, Spanish or Dutch, and includes water, snacks, snorkel gear and a bandana. Minimum age is 18 to ride; passengers can be 10 and up.
Step-by-step itinerary
ATV tour with caving and beach stop

- Visit Indian Cave for photos
- Visit wild flamingo spot
- Enjoy panoramic Caribbean Sea view
- Relax at fishing village pier
The Experience
What makes this different from a regular tour is that you're the one operating the ATV—navigating sandy paths, bumps and rocky terrain yourself across Curaçao's west coast. The ride starts on the Hato plains and passes the windmill farm, where the landscape opens up enough to stop and shoot photos. From there the route heads toward San Pedro, where the coastline gets wilder and the terrain more technical.
The cave visit breaks up the riding: you'll dismount and walk into the Indian Cave for a look at local history and more photo time. Just after, the group slows down at the famous flamingo spot—a natural habitat where you can watch them without the animals being caged or staged. The water here is clear enough to see why people stop, and it's a moment to catch your breath before the final stretch.
Boka Sami is where the day ends. It's a small fishing village on the water, and you can either jump off the pier for a swim or sit on the terrace with a cold drink while the Caribbean spreads out in front of you. The whole loop takes three hours. You'll get bottled water, snacks, snorkel gear, goggles and a bandana; the guide handles the route and the stops. Groups range from two riders to fourteen, depending on which option you pick at checkout.

Is this one for you?Choose the solo ATV option if you want full control of your own machine and pace; pick a shared option if you'd rather split the cost and ride alongside others. Either way, you'll need moderate fitness and a steady hand on terrain that shifts between sand and rock—this is riding, not sightseeing from a seat.
