The experience
The boat leaves from Hvar and heads out with your skipper, who speaks English and knows the Adriatic coast. Budikovac Island comes first: a turquoise lagoon ringed by two small islands where the water is shallow enough to snorkel and the beach is sheltered from the wind. From there the route moves to the Bisevo Blue Cave, where the water inside glows blue at certain times of day. The skipper knows when the light is best. Between the cave and the next stop, you'll pass Stiniva Cove, a collapsed sea cave and one of Europe's most photographed bays. The boat can't dock on the beach itself, but you can swim straight in.
The Paklinski Islands anchor the second half of the day. Pine forest runs down to the water, and the bays on the southern side (Palmižana and Vinogradišće) are built for all-day swimming and lounging. The skipper carries snorkeling gear and keeps bottled water cold in an ice box throughout the tour. What you actually do depends on what you want: if you're after quiet, the skipper knows the empty coves. If you want to be around other boats and people, he'll take you there instead. The eight hours give you time to swim at multiple stops without rushing.
Four boat sizes are available at checkout, ranging from 26 feet to 35 feet, so you pick the one that fits your group. The skipper is included, as is fuel. Cave entry tickets (12 to 24 euros depending on the season) are paid separately when you arrive. Lunch is not included, though the ice box keeps drinks and snacks cold.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What is the Bisevo Blue Cave and when does the water actually glow blue?
The Bisevo Blue Cave is a sea cave on the island of Bisevo, near Hvar. The water inside glows blue due to light reflecting off the seafloor and the cave walls at certain times of day. The skipper times the stop to catch the effect when it's strongest.
Can I swim and snorkel at every stop on the tour?
Yes. Budikovac Island has a protected lagoon ideal for snorkeling; Stiniva Cove is swimmable (you enter from the water, not a beach); and the Paklinski Islands have multiple bays where you can get in the water. Snorkeling gear is provided.
How does the skipper decide which beaches and bays to visit?
You tell the skipper what you want (quiet coves or livelier spots with other boats), and he adjusts the route to match. The eight-hour window gives him flexibility to hit multiple stops and spend real time at each one.
What's included in the tour price, and what costs extra?
The tour includes the skipper, the boat, fuel, bottled water, an ice box and snorkeling gear. Blue Cave entry tickets cost 12 to 24 euros per person depending on the season and are paid on arrival. Lunch is not included.
How many people can fit on each boat?
Four boat sizes are available: the Joker Clubman (26 feet), Mercan (34 feet), Enzo (35 feet) and Bsc 78 (larger capacity). You choose the size that suits your group at checkout.
