The experience

The speedboat departs Hvar and heads first to Budikovac Island, where the water is clear enough to snorkel or swim without entering a cave: a warm-up stop before the day's main events. From there the boat moves to Ravnik, where the Green Cave sits at the water's edge. You can either swim into it yourself or be ferried inside by a smaller shuttle boat (your choice each time). The skipper then takes the group to Stiniva Cove, a narrow pebble beach hemmed in by high cliffs that open to the sea like a gate: the European Best Destinations organization named it Europe's most beautiful beach, and the turquoise water is deep enough to jump from the rocks.

The afternoon centers on Biševo Island and the Blue Cave, the tour's signature stop. You'll dock at the port, buy your entry ticket there, and board a small shuttle boat that takes you inside the cave itself, where the light reflecting off the seafloor turns the water an electric blue. After the cave, the route swings back to the Pakleni Islands and Palmižana Bay for the final stop: time to eat at one of the waterfront restaurants or swim off the sandy beach before heading back to Hvar. Snorkeling gear is provided throughout. Bring only a towel and cash for the cave tickets and any lunch you want ashore.
