- Tour ancient temple in cave

The experience
The tour starts with pickup and takes you first to Kampot's salt fields, where your guide explains the production methods that have supplied the region for generations. From there you head to one of Cambodia's oldest temples, set deep inside a cave system: the walk through the caves themselves is part of the stop. You'll pause at a man-made lake off the main roads to take in the views and hear about its construction and Cambodia's history.
The pepper farm is the centerpiece. You visit either La Plantation or BoTree Farm, walk through the growing areas, and taste test different pepper varieties and blends directly with the farmers to find your favorite. The guide handles all driving, and the itinerary accounts for travel time within the total duration, so you're not waiting around between stops. Lunch is included at a point during the day.
