The Experience
Twin Beans Farm sits 20km outside Da Lat in Da Sar commune, built around an Arabica plantation with its own roastery and coffee shop on the grounds. You'll see where the coffee grows, then move through the processing stages—how the beans are prepared after harvest—before reaching the roastery itself. A live guide explains each step in English or Vietnamese, so you understand what happens at every stage from soil to cup.
The core of the workshop is hands-on: you roast a batch of beans yourself, learning how heat and timing change the flavor, then brew what you've roasted and taste it on the spot. This is not a lecture or a farm walk where someone else does the work—you're the one controlling the roast, making the brewing choices, and tasting the result of your own decisions. If you visit between November and January, you can also join the harvest itself and pick coffee directly from the plants.
The workshop runs about 75 minutes total. You can book it as a standalone experience at the farm, or add round-trip transport from your Da Lat hotel; if you choose transport, pickup is included. Either way, the guide, coffee and tea are part of the booking. Minimum age is 12.
