Three canyons, one van, twelve hours of red rock

You get picked up from your Las Vegas hotel, driven to four natural landmarks across Arizona, guided through Antelope Canyon by a local Navajo expert, and returned by evening. The tour includes round-trip transport, lunch, park entry, and a small-group van that keeps the experience from feeling crowded. The main trade-off is a long day in the heat, especially at Horseshoe Bend in summer, but the three-in-one format means you see the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, and Horseshoe Bend without arranging separate trips.

17h–19h

Step-by-step itinerary

  • Pickup from Bellagio or Circus Circus
  • Hike 1.2 km to Horseshoe Bend viewpoint
  • Enjoy panoramic views at Horseshoe Bend
  • Explore South Rim of Grand Canyon
  • Visit two scenic viewpoints at Grand Canyon
  • Stop at gift shop for souvenirs
  • Have quick lunch en route
  • Experience views of Colorado River
  • Tour Antelope Canyon with Navajo guide
  • Stop in Seligman or Williams on Route 66
  • Return to Las Vegas

The Experience

Most people see the Grand Canyon from a casino window in Las Vegas, or not at all. This day tour gets you out of the city before sunrise and into three of the Southwest's most photographed places—the Grand Canyon South Rim, Antelope Canyon, and Horseshoe Bend—in a single push. Pickup happens at Bellagio or Circus Circus, and from there it's a straight shot into Arizona, which means you're watching the landscape change from desert scrub to towering red walls while everyone else is still sleeping off the night before.

Horseshoe Bend comes first, a 1.2-kilometer hike on sandy trail that takes maybe forty minutes round trip. The payoff is immediate: the Colorado River curves below you in a perfect horseshoe, a thousand feet down, and the light hits it differently depending on the time of day. In summer the heat is real—temperatures can hit 100 degrees Fahrenheit with no shade—so the early start matters. After that, you drive to the Grand Canyon South Rim, where the tour hits two viewpoints (Lipan Point, Bright Angel, or Yavapai Point, depending on the day) and you get about forty minutes to actually stand there and look. A sandwich lunch happens en route, and you can choose regular, vegan, or gluten-free if you let them know when you book.

Antelope Canyon is where the day shifts. You're on Navajo land now, and a local Navajo guide takes you into either Lower Antelope or Antelope Canyon X—narrow slot canyons where sunlight filters through the rock in those famous beams you've seen in photos. Lower Antelope has ladders with handrails; the upper canyon is more of a walk. Either way, the light is strange and precise, and the walls are smooth and curved like water frozen in stone. On the drive back to Las Vegas, there's a stop in Seligman or Williams, old Route 66 towns with the kind of faded Americana that makes sense after a day in the canyons.

The whole thing runs about twelve hours door to door, and the van maxes out at twelve people, which means it doesn't feel like you're herded through. Weather can delay arrival times, and in summer the Horseshoe Bend hike is genuinely hot, so bring water and sunscreen. If you're not a U.S. resident, note that the National Park Service added a $100 entrance fee for non-residents starting January 2026—you'll pay that on the day, so bring a credit card.

What’s included

Your day includes round-trip pickup from Bellagio or Circus Circus, air-conditioned van transport, a professional guide and driver, entry to Grand Canyon National Park and Antelope Canyon, a sandwich lunch with dietary options (regular, vegan, or gluten-free), and stops at Horseshoe Bend and two Grand Canyon viewpoints. A brief stop on Route 66 in Seligman or Williams is also included on the return journey.
