You’ll cruise to Phi Phi Islands in style—swimming in hidden lagoons, tasting real Thai food onboard, spotting monkeys from your yacht, and catching one of those sunsets you’ll never forget. Perfect if you want something special without crowds or hassle.
The morning air felt thick and salty as we stepped onto the deck at Royal Phuket Marina—someone handed me a cold towel and a welcome drink before I’d even set my bag down. There’s this low hum of excitement as the yacht pulls away, the city noise fading behind us. Our guide, Nok, pointed out tiny fishing boats bobbing in the distance while the DJ set up near the back. It’s not every day you get to cruise toward Maya Bay with just a handful of other guests—maybe 15 or so, all stretched out on big sunbeds.
We stopped first at Pi Leh Lagoon. The water here is this unreal shade of blue-green—almost like someone turned up the color on a TV. I dove in and could hear nothing but my own bubbles for a second; it’s that quiet. Back on board, lunch was served right to our table: grilled prawns, spicy papaya salad, and fresh pineapple that tasted sweeter than anything I’ve had back home. The crew kept topping up drinks and checking if we needed anything—felt more like being at a friend’s house than on a tour.
Maya Bay was next. The sand is soft and almost squeaky underfoot (I didn’t expect that), and you can see why they filmed movies here—it really does look unreal in person. We had time to wander around or just lay back in the sun for a bit. Later, drifting past Monkey Beach, we watched these little macaques dart along the rocks—one even tried to swipe an orange from another boat nearby. The last stretch was pure chill: music playing low, everyone stretched out with cocktails as the sky went pink and gold over the water. We pulled back into Phuket just after dark, salt still in my hair and feeling like I’d been away much longer than a day.
