The day starts with hotel pickup 30 to 90 minutes before departure, depending on where you're staying, and ends nine hours later. You travel by speedboat through Phang Nga Bay, which means the route itself (passing through emerald-green water beneath striking limestone cliffs) is part of what you're paying for. The first major stop is Khao Ping Khan, known as James Bond Island because it was filmed there for "The Man with the Golden Gun." You'll have time to photograph the iconic karst jutting out of the water and take in the formations up close.
