The Experience

The day starts before dawn with a warm welcome at the pier—tea, coffee, Thai snacks and fresh fruit—then you board the speedboat for the run out to the limestone islands. The boat takes you past Panak Island and into Bat Cave, where you can walk the I-tim or Diamond Cave passages on foot before heading to Hong Island for the canoeing. This is where the pace shifts: you paddle into the lagoon's cave-like rooms, moving through the water at your own speed with a professional guide handling the paddle work alongside you.

James Bond Island (Khao Phing Kan) comes next, famous from the film The Man with the Golden Gun. You have time to walk around, photograph the rock formation, and browse the souvenir stalls before the boat carries you to Koh Panyee, a sea gypsy village built on stilts, where lunch is served. After eating, you can explore the local shops or simply rest. The tour then stops at Khao Khian to see the ancient rock drawings etched into the cliff face, and finishes with swimming and beach time before the return journey to your hotel.

The speedboat holds the group together; a professional canoe guide joins you on the water. Life jackets are provided and worn throughout. Hotel pickup covers Patong, Kata, Karon, Rawai, Chalong, Tri Trang, Town, Kamala, Bangtao and Surin, and the driver brings you back at the end of the day.
