The experience

The boat leaves from your hotel dock (selected properties only) and heads down to Marigot Bay, where the captain walks you through the bay's history while you get the camera ready. The water here is calm and the light is still high enough to see the shoreline clearly. This is the part of the day built for photos. The bay is framed by steep green hills, and the setting gives you time to move around the boat without rushing.

Snorkeling happens at an optional stop near a rock formation called the Cinderella Shoe. If you choose to go in, the boat provides all the equipment you need. The reef site is shallow enough to see the bottom, and you can stay in as long as you want or skip it entirely and stay aboard. Either way, the boat turns back toward the meeting point as the sun drops, so you're watching the light change from the water or the deck the whole way home.
