The experience

The boat leaves from the west coast, where the Caribbean Sea stays calm year-round. You board at 4:30pm and stay out until the sun drops below the horizon. Roughly two hours on the water. The captain and crew handle the navigation. Your job is to settle in with a rum punch or cold beer, watch the light change across the water, and listen to Caribbean music playing over the sound of the engine cutting back as you slow down to anchor.

Pickup happens from your hotel if it sits in the North with dock access, or from the cruise ship terminal if you're arriving by ship that day. The boat itself comes in two sizes (the 28ft Still Knotty or the 25ft Knotty Behavior), so the experience scales with your group. Water and soft drinks round out what's included. A fuel surcharge applies if you're picked up from Marigot Bay or Soufriere instead of the main departure point.
