The safari truck has an openable soft top, which means you get an unobstructed view of the park and the animals moving through it. Habarana Eco Park (also called Hurulu Eco Park) sits near Sigiriya and is built around elephant sightings. You can expect to see hundreds during the drive, along with other wildlife and birds. Unlike Sri Lanka's national parks, this eco park stays productive for elephant viewing throughout the year, so the season does not matter for booking.
Your guide travels with you and narrates the route, explaining elephant behavior and details about the park itself.
