No experience needed. All equipment (board, wetsuit, water shoes and rash guard) is included, and a live guide teaches in English, Spanish, Italian, French or another language. The course adapts to sea conditions and your skill level.

The experience

You show up with no surfing background and leave understanding how waves actually work. This isn't a one-off lesson where you paddle out and hope. It's a structured two-hour session built around video feedback and a clear method. The guide watches what you're doing, shows you what to adjust, and explains why the adjustment matters. You'll practice on whatever break around Playa de las Américas has the best conditions that day. The area gets consistent swell year-round and works for learners because the waves cooperate more often than they fight you.

Everything you need arrives with you: surfboard, wetsuit, water shoes and a rash guard all included, so you're not renting separately or guessing at sizes. The guide stays with you the whole time, teaching in whichever of five languages you speak. Children from age 8 can join. The schedule shifts based on conditions and your level, which means the session might move to a different break if the swell changes or if you're progressing faster than expected: that flexibility is what keeps the practice safe and useful instead of frustrating.
