Guided Winery Tour with 6 Wine Tasting in Tenerife
Walk a working winery and taste what it makes, from the vines to the glass
A guided tour of Bodegas Viñátgo in Tenerife includes a walk through the Variety Garden, the terrace where fermentation begins, and the winery itself, finishing with a tasting of 6 wines. The winery operates on 100% renewable energy and organic farming practices. A live guide leads the tour in English or Spanish, and the whole experience runs about two hours. Minimum age for wine tasting is 18; younger visitors can book a child ticket and join the tour without the tasting.
The Experience
The tour starts in the Variety Garden, where you learn which grapes grow here and how the landscape shapes what ends up in the bottle. From there you move to the terrace—the first stage of wine creation—where you can see how the process begins before heading inside the winery itself. The building's architecture is built into the landscape, and the guide walks you through the different methods Bodegas Viñátgo uses to make quality wines.
The tasting closes the tour: six wines, each one explained. You taste them on the winery's own terms, not a rushed lineup, and the guide talks through what you are tasting and why. The whole visit takes about two hours. Public transportation stops nearby, and all areas of the winery are wheelchair accessible, so you don't need a car to get there or move through the grounds.
