The experience
You watch the chef demonstrate, then do the work yourself: trimming vegetables, building the stew, pan-frying the pancakes. The two dishes you make are sundubu jjigae (soft tofu stew eaten with rice) and pajeon (Korean pancakes with vegetables and dipping sauce). You also prepare the dipping sauce. The vegetables come from the rooftop garden when they're in season, March through October, so what you cook depends on when you visit.
After you finish cooking, you eat. The class wraps up with a certificate and a printed recipe so you can make both dishes again at home. The whole experience runs 90 minutes from start to finish.
What’s included
- Lunch consisting of the two dishes you cook.
- printed recipe.
- certificate of completion.
